Busy Summer days...

I hadn't even looked at blogs the last month and realized that it had already been a month since the last blog... maybe thats a good thing, lots of fun to be had in the summer!
My little lady and handsome boy!
Brother and sissy are the joys of my day, Kyla just loves to watch Caleb and is my talker, giggler, never really silent, likes to be heard all the time! She has started rolling, mainly from back to belly, and sucking on anything she can touch. I would say we are pushing the 16 lb. mark, 3-6 months size clothes have almost been a blink of the eye, the girl grows like a weed! But she is still my little cuddle bug and its so hard not to squeeze the rolls all the time! Caleb is really into pretend play lately, setting up large car races and farms throughout the living room and house and will entertain himself for hours talking for his cars and animals, it is so fun to listen to.
Daddy had a birthday and Caleb and I made him the Ultimate Sprinkle Cake!
We spent a weekend in KC and visited a children's farm..They had a tractor track, fishing, animals, gardens, playground, lots of fun for an afternoon...
Then we attended the Car, Train, Plane Festival. Caleb loved looking in all of the cars...
Riding the train with Grandma...
Kyla even had time for a snooze in a favorite spot...grandma's lap!
Uncle Todd came in for a quick visit, always a good time!
Then Mimi and Papa came for a visit. We spent a few days in Branson with Mimi, we got to swim and lots of paddle boating - Caleb's favorite!
And we celebrated the 4th, firecrackers in the driveway, the only way Chad will have it!
... the best little firecracker!
And a family pic, it only took about 50 shots to get one with all of us looking!
Happy Summer trying to stay cool!
